Not everyone can be Made In Chelsea, but if you’ve got a fancy for the posh life, a new dating site might just help you fulfill those fantasies.
The brainchild of Made In Chelsea ‘super fan,’ Tom Thurlow, the Date In Chelsea dating website provides people within the borough to live out their show-inspired fantasies. Mr Thurlow, who has been called one of the top five younger entrepreneurs in the UK, is campaigning long and hard to sign up the cast of the show by offering them memberships free of charge.
A large number of well-to-do singles have already signed up as well, Mr Thurlow says, with members gaining the ability to send and receive virtual gifts, make use of real-time video chat, and see who’s been viewing their profile. However, a recent mistake on the part of the company that operates the Date in Chelsea website led to an influx of less-affluent members, after thousands exploited a bug that waived all but £1 of the site’s usual sign up fee.
If you’re not interested in Made in Chelsea, there are other many alternatives out there in regards to finding the best dating site for you. The new fit2date site, a recent import from Australia, combines your search for a mate with your passion for keeping fit by arranging training session meet-ups where you can pair up with people devoted to keeping their bodies in shape but who lack the time to socialise and work out, according to Erica French, the site’s founder.
